The 29th edition of the tournament will be held from 14 January to 2 February 2025, jointly organized by Denmark, Croatia, and Norway. Thirty-two teams will participate in this edition, divided into 8 groups in the preliminary round, with the top three teams from each group qualifying for the main round, while the remaining teams will compete for the President's Cup.

One of the most prominent teams participating in the current tournament is Egypt, who qualified for the quarter-finals for the fourth consecutive time after defeating Cape Verde 31-24.
